ABOUT

El Sabino is a private integrative psychotherapy practice inspired by Nature and by the Sabino Tree -known as Montezuma Cypress or Ahuehuete meaning “old man of the water.”

The tree’s aqueous roots represent a deep connection to the flow of life. Likewise, personal transformation involves diving into the depths of our subconscious, embracing our emotions, and aligning with the natural flow of our existence. As the tree remains firmly anchored in spite of the constant movement of the water, we can develop inner stability, adaptability, and a sense of rootedness from life’s challenges and changing seasons.

El Sabino -grounded and upright- is a safe and nurturing space to rest in stillness, unfurl the mind and cede to the language of the heart. El Sabino bears witness to the emergence of individual’s inner healer, weaving its golden thread into the tapestry of life, and revealing the interconnectedness that we long for.

Integrative psychotherapy is an approach to therapy that combines multiple therapeutic techniques and theories to provide a comprehensive and tailored approach to each client.  There is no one-size-fits-all solution to mental health concerns and different techniques and approaches may be effective for different clients.  Integrative psychotherapy draws from various theoretical models including psychodynamic, humanistic, transpersonal, somatic, art-therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, among others.

The goal of integrative psychotherapy is to help clients develop greater self-awareness and insight, improve their emotional regulation and coping skills, and enhance their overall well-being.  This approach recognizes that individuals are complex and multifaceted, and that mental health concerns often stem from a variety of factors.  By taking a holistic approach, integrative psychotherapy seeks to address all of these factors and help clients achieve lasting change and growth.
